“You’re a Grand Old Flag”—a true, patriotic anthem. First performed over a century ago, the song remains a classic, especially around the 4th of July holiday. Let's keep the tradition alive… 21st century style. Submit your unique rendition of the song as a music video in our WaMu Family 4th Music Video Contest! The singer, band, choir, beat-poet or proud patriot with the best interpretation of this old favorite will win!
If your video is voted the best, WaMu Family 4th will reward your patriotism and creativity with new video equipment to keep you performing, plus a summer full of all-American entertainment! The prize package includes:
- A Canon DC 40 4.3MP DVD Camcorder and accessories
- $500 gift card for video editing software
- A moment in the limelight, as a portion of your video will be aired on KING 5 TV's Evening Magazine!
- Four VIP invitations to the WaMu Family 4th at Lake Union

So how do you enter for this great prize? First, make a video featuring you or a group putting a unique spin on the classic song "You're A Grand Old Flag." Be creative! Then, upload it to the WaMu Family 4th YouTube Contest Page. Keep in mind your video has to be two minutes or less in length if you want it to be considered for the prize. Then register yourself and your video below. Easy as pie.
Entries will be accepted through Sunday, May 18, 2008. On Monday, June 2 we'll announce the semi-finalists and allow the public to choose the Grand Prize Winner. Polls will be open through Sunday, June 15, 2008.
